Kirinyaga University 2016 graduates displayed sterling performance and assisted young entrepreneurs within Kirinyaga and Embu Counties to prepare and present to Techno Serve/Barclays Bank of Kenya viable business proposals for funding by Barclays Bank of Kenya Ltd.

The first three awards of Kenya shillings. 50,000, 30,000 and 20,000 were worn by Ceaser Njanja (1st position - assisted by Simon Nzyoka), Loise Marangu (2nd position - assisted by Purity Maina) and Stephen Karanja Mohammed (3rd position- assisted by Martin Kamau).

The office of the Principal KyU, that of the Deputy Principal, ARSA and Techno Serve thank the ten interns namely; Alex Muigai, Gordan Wafula, Fredrick Kiriga, Patrick Mwangi, Grace Igecha, Douglas Mwirigi, Simon Nzyoka, Purity Maina, Vitalis Wandera and Martin Kamau for their sterling guidance to Kirinyaga and Embu County entrepreneurs on how to prepare viable business proposals and Mr. Jackson Maina for his involvement in the process from inception to conclusion.
